Pirates Paradise Island Resort is located in the south western Caribbean off the coast of Nicaragua on Cayo Frenchman. The island is owned by an American couple that reside in the suburbs of Washington DC in the United States.

The island sits approximately 4 miles off the untouched rainforest coast of Nicaragua. This area of the Caribbean is untouched by modern civilization and offers an incredible experience for the adventurer, the eco tracker or the average person just wanting to get away from it all. This is truly a pristine environment where nature thrives and one can truly escape the everyday hustle and bustle of modern life.

Cayo Frenchman is a beautiful island that offers high peaks where you can softly swing in a hammock as you listen to the Caribbean breeze rustle through the palm trees and a large beach area where you can lay in the sun or sit under a coconut tree and listen to the waves lap the shore line. The island is covered with exotic tropical plants and trees that provide plenty of shade for those hot days. The average year round temperature is 82 degrees with lows in the mid 70's at night.

The island hosts a variety of tropical birds and a few little lizards. There are minimal insects and no mosquitos or flies. The aquatic life that surrounds the island is exquisite.

The island accommodations are modest, but clean and comfortable, that provides a cozy beach house feeling. The house has 4 bedrooms, two full baths, a family room, and a kitchen. The house has a nice wrap around porch and provides panoramic views from all sides. Activities on the island are dictated by the guests. There are many activities from snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, and exploring the various creeks and rivers that lead up into the rain forest. You can walk the wooden walkways that surround the island or just float around and catch some rays in the small bay area. There are caretakers to assist with anything you may need and cooks to attend to anything your palate desires.
